Ho to get to Riomaggiore
|
By air : The closest airports are in Pisa and Genova. Then you can get here by train or by car
By train : Direct trains from Milano/Genova or Livorno/Pisa stop in Riomaggiore otherwise go to La Spezia Centrale and take a train to Riomaggiore. Timetables and information at www.trenitalia.com
By car: Exit the A 12 (Genova – Livorno) or the A15 ( La Spezia - Parma ) in La Spezia – Santo Stefano Magra. Once you get to La Spezia follow the signs to Riomaggiore. Take the panoramic coastal road and after 15 km you arrive to Riomaggiore. You can park along the street or in the National Park's charge car park outside the village. By air :The closest airports are in Pisa and Genova. Then you can get here by train or by car.
By train /bus : Arrive at La Spezia Centrale (timetables and information at www.trenitalia.com)
Go to the bus stop and take service 11/P (go downhill on the left, walk through Piazza Saint Bon and Piazza Garibaldi, turn right in Viale Garibaldi. The bus stop to Portovenere is after 100 m . on the right.) You can buy the bus ticket (code 03) at bookstalls and tobacco shops. You can also buy it on the bus by paying an additional charge (timetables and information at
www.atclaspezia.it). The agency is in the street in front of the Arenella beach.
By ferryboat: Ferryboats departing from La Spezia dock in Passeggiata Morin. Timetables and information at www.navigazionegolfodeipoeti.it
